Apologies for the late submission to this. It's been a busy month.
The driver of this vehicle received a PCN for going down a no entry here: https://bit.ly/2OWeuiw Yes the signs are clear but I note that they are only clear once you go past the last legal exit you can take (entrance to the carpark). If you go back a little bit you will see that there are absolutely no signs warning of the closure of the road or any mitigating actions one can take to avoid it (tight road to do a 3-point turn. Which leads to another point - the video shows that a car behind the driver was very close - not sure if that can have an impact in this case regarding turning around. https://youtu.be/WGYHdwDDeiM Third point after seeing some similar PCNs (although they have been PCNs for coming the opposite way) about the name of the road being Temple Mills Lane and not "Mill" as the PCN suggests. Update: The Google street view shows that the road name sign to be Temple Mill Ln so I'm not sure how strong of a contender that is to win anything. But my other points? |
