I dont really understand what the signs telling me, can i park in these what id assume are visitor spaces as theyre not allocated.
I have work to do on this estate for the company who have actually built it, theyve said nobody can park on the estate and theres about 8 spaces on the main road and theyre all taken up by 6am,i have to work from my van so i cant keep going back and forth a mile at a time. This is the road 2-9 Breething Rd 2-9 Breething Rd, Dunton Green, Sevenoaks https://maps.app.goo.gl/RKUi3Zirpjq1CBrz5 Ive parked here the last 2 days with no ticket, but someone told me today they send them in the post and not on the windscreen? |

Without a permit, clearly you can’t without risking an invoice.
I’d tell the builder to get stuffed and work for someone else, they are the ones saying you can’t park there and who almost certainly employed CPM to take money off you if you do. It’s also likely this is self ticketing and someone from the builders will be taking photos and getting kick backs from every ticket paid. -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

Ask them for a permit or to find another contractor.

No chance to renegotiate the work and have it at an hourly rate? They might change their tune if they have to pay for your walking back & forth. Oh, and maybe the cost of a trolley/wheelbarrow

Can they really just ticket me by the post and not put one on the windscreen then? I parked there once around start of December and never got anything through, and parked there twice this week. Just assumed i was ok to park there as i wasnt getting a pcn.
I read the sign as saying a permit was required for using a designated space but obviously i was wrong lol. |

Just tell them that your fee has just gone up by £100 a day to cover parking.
