first of all, i tried to find answer on all forums - but failed. So writing here.
So I got a PCN from TFL for parking on red route. I logged into TFL website to see pictures but the PCN and VRN both weren't recognised. It's been 10 days now. Even if I go to appeal page, it won't work. If I go to Pay a PCN page, it won't work either. I have checked twitter feed, some other people are compaining the same that TFL website is giving error. I can't appeal online now, nor can I pay. What shall I do now? Also, what grounds do I have to get this PCN cancelled because their website is down. |

What did they say when you called them to query? I got this ticket on 12th Jan. Next morning after making sure that their website isn't working either with payments or appeals, I called the 03432223333 (payments line) and gave my PCN which their database DID NOT recognise. Redialled the next day. And same result. Initially i thought they've given me incorrect PCN. but now, after 6 days, this PCN is working on TFL's phone line. BUT the website is still giving same error. I attached pictures in last post. |

Are you wanting to appeal or pay ? If appeal, please post the PCN.

If you wish to appeal, there's always snail mail.
It might be an idea to try entering the PCN No. with a GT prefix. This post has been edited by DastardlyDick: Fri, 19 Jan 2018 - 18:43 |

If the prefix is wrong, and i seem to recall seeing this recently then the individuality of the PCN number comes into question -------------------- All advice is given freely. If PCN was 12th Jan (date of PCN) then time is ticking on the 14 day deadline.
But we don't even know if it is a postal or regular PCN (served on vehicle) so have no idea when that deadline is. If a regular PCN, Thursday 25th If a postal, Monday 29th Jan. Either way there is time to get a postal challenge in. But again, we haven't a clue what on except that it is for stopping on a red route. Or if your 12th is the day we ought to be using ? Lets see the PCN ! This post has been edited by DancingDad: Fri, 19 Jan 2018 - 21:03 |

So the PCN exists somewhere in TfLs (or rather Capitas) system according to their payment line, if you wish to pay it, you can.
If you wish to appeal we need to see the PCN together with a Google Street View reference please, otherwise it is pretty near impossible to give any meaningful advice. The unavailability of online appeal won't (IMO) get far, as the mail version is there. It hasn't been working since Capita took over the PCN Admin from NSL, AFAIK no-one has successfully used it at Adjudication. This post has been edited by DastardlyDick: Fri, 19 Jan 2018 - 21:32 |

If the prefix is wrong, and i seem to recall seeing this recently then the individuality of the PCN number comes into question PCN is correct coz it works when I dial their payment phone number. but doesn't work online. I tried Mac/Windows/Safari/Chrome but same results. I can't view pictures of my car or make appeal. i think i'll have to send letter by post demanding to see pictures. also, i this pcn wasn't received via post. The tfl guy had put it on my car. prefix is GF by the way. |
