The OH was unfortunate to get clocked at 38 in a 30 limit. She has been offered a speed awareness course which I advised her to take. She is a named driver on my insurance as I am on hers.
Does she have to notify her insurance of the sac and more importantly do I have to tell mine?. I've had a quick poke round on the other parts of these forums but cannot find a definative answer. I would be highly dis-chuffed if my premiums were to increase. Any helpful replies are welcome. -------------------- If at first you don't succeed.....SOD IT.

AFAIK the only insurer requesting SAC details is Bell/Admiral/Elephant and that's only at application/renewal.
You should carefully check the policy documentation of both contracts, as these things do vary and only your insurer's requirements count. |

If an SAC is taken your licence remains clean. Insurers only generally ask about points and prosecutions and the SAC avoids both. SAC details by all accounts cannot be accessed by insurance companies and therefore no need to advise
