Hi all,

Was going down a dual carriage way and it's 30 but they have new white lines for the gatsos and the old lines are blanked out ie just painted black

Do they still take notice of the old blank black ones or just the new white ones

I did 31 over the old blank black ones JFYI

Thanks,
Rob

You must be doing at least 35 in a 30 before they will take any action, so you're worrying over nothing.

Only the white lines would be used - but this is a secondary check from the primary measurement. (Radar or buried piezo sensors)

No lines are needed (white or black) and they can use photogrammetry. Assuming this is a traditional Gatso, other camera's work in different ways with different check line systems.
