Hi all

Daughter received a Parking charge notice at Asda for "not parking in a marked bay". Havent actually seen the Parking Eye signs but these usually say "Park only within marked bays"

She was parked in a marked bay but nearside rear wheel is overhanging the bay marking by about 2 inches. She has photographs.

Cough up the £40 or appeal?

Cheers for advice

Contact the manager (not the Customer Services people, ask to see the manager) at ASDA and insist they get it cancelled. If they fob you off, write to ASDA head office and complain. This will be the path of least resistance.

Was there a PCN on the car (staff put it on) or was it via post?

Encroaching another bay? Can we see?
