Hi

My daughter was driving my company car when a manned camera captured her speeding. The incident happened on 16/06/2019 the NIP arrived on 03/08/2019 dated 31/07/2019 to my home address in my company name.

Do I have grounds under the time barring to contest this ?

I have been away on holiday so not had time to sort out properly

thanks
#Steve

If it's a company car you're probably not the registered keeper. So first NIP would have gone to the company, or maybe to a leasing company.

Is thte car the companies property or is it leased. If leased first NIP will have gone to the lease company.

The initial NIP needs to be served on the Registered Keeper within 14 days, this is highly likely to have been a lease company or even a finance company. So it is likely the NIP was served in time but unless you can find who the RK is and ask them when the NIP was served you have no grounds to assume a late service.

Do you have the V5c registration document with your address on it?

Your reply needs to be with the police on the 30th or a more serious offence is committed, better get a weave on!
