Hi All,

I wonder if anyone can help please with a charge from CP PLUS ?

I have a Kidney issue that I had to go to ER for.

The driver sseem to have parked in a large disabled area by mistake.

Can anyone help with this matter please?

This is not ANPR just a ticket on the windscreen.

They are threatening an extra £40 if they have to get the registered keeper from the DVLA.

Thanks in advance.

I apologise but this is in the wrong forum section.

Can a mod move please?

EDIT your post so as not to identify the driver. Refer only to 'the driver.' This is CRUCIAL!

At day 25/26, write:

Dear sirs,

PCN xxxxx

I am the registered keeper of the vehicle to which the above PCN applies.

A site visit has revealed that your signage is woefully inadequate. The windscreen PCN that have issued is incapable of transferring liability to me as registered keeper. You must therefore contact the driver, who I am not required to name and will not do so. I don't expect to hear from you again except to confirm that I have no liability.

Love and kisses.

The purpose of writing at that time is in the hope that they fail to obtain RK details from DVLA which is another appeal point should this progress further.

DVLA request costs them £2.50 (plus a few tens of pennies)
That should tell you what kind of an organisation they are.

The £40 'threat' is probably just to make the panicked and unknowing write back with reams of info that makes the PPC's case for them.

Which facts in any situation or problem are “essential” and what makes them “essential”? If the “essential” facts are said to depend on the principles involved, then the whole business, all too obviously, goes right around in a circle. In the light of one principle or set of principles, one bunch of facts will be the “essential” ones; in the light of another principle or set of principles, a different bunch of facts will be “essential.” In order to settle on the right facts you first have to pick your principles, although the whole point of finding the facts was to indicate which principles apply.

Note that I am not legally qualified and any and all statements made are "Reserved". Liability for application lies with the reader.

Thanks all.

The driver has been back to the site and there is a big sign stating disabled only. As they were in extreme pain no notice was taken.

Should I still follow the action as above?

Many thanks

Hi again.

Thanks for the help so far.

Is it OK to email this appeal or do I have to send a recorded letter?

If I emailed would I have to still do it on the 25th/26th day?

Also do I give my name?

Thanks in advance.

E mail on day 25/26 or first class post with certificate of posting from the post office on about day 24/25. NEVER recorded delivery - they can refuse to sign for it, you don't get your appeal in and lose the advantage you were trying to manufacture.

Your name and address, as normal when you write a letter, but with a very small, insignificant error so that you can quickly see if they have used your info or info from DVLA for NtK. Eg, Smit or Acaci Avenue instead of Smithh or Acacia Avenue.
