I parked my car in a road with resident bays but on a single yellow line (during the restricted time) as I needed to drop my daughter off for a hospital appt (and surprise surprise the hosp car park was full). I so no restricted signs so left the car and took her in.

5 mins later I returned to find a PCN slapped on my vehicle with the description that I had parked in a controlled zone - I looked around and could see no signs. ON returning home I appealed this on the basis that I saw no legitimate reason for not parking there and the council (Barnet) rejected my appeal and sent me a photo from google images of said sign.

The sign was practically facing a hedgerow of a resident's property (i.e. away from the road) - I appealed again citing the photo as evidence of the PCN being non-enforceable on the basis that I missed the sign as it wasn't even facing the road - this was rejected (on an NTO). I think I have a legitimate reason to appeal further - just wanted to know anyone else's view as to whether it is worth me wasting my time or just paying the (now) £110?

You need to show us the PCN (all sides in full, redact just the number plate), the council evidence (including all CEO photos) and a link to the location on google Street View.

Also upload your representations and their rejection (you didn't appeal, you only made representations, appeal are made to the tribunal at a later stage).

Use imgur.com to host the pictures if you run out of space on here.

Were you:

Parked in a bay without a permit?
Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours (Yellow line)?

These "controlled parking zones" are often confused beacuse they are generally used together, i.e. councils create permit-holder zones and at the same time use the sign to denote yellow lines. I think councils don't know the difference sometimes and certainly most of the public don't, usually the reactions here.

As you're nearly at the end of the enforcement process, we need to know EXACTLY where you are.

The only info I need immediately is the date of their Notice of Rejection of Representations.

Even if you cannot post docs, tell us the date the NOR was issued.

If you miss deadlnes then whistle goodbye to at least £110.

Tme is not your friend.
