Hi all,
New to this forum but was wondering if anyone has any success appealing a PCN 23 'Parked in a parking place or area not designated for class of vehicle'. I got a Penalty charge notice parking my car in a parking bay that was marked 'SOLO M/CS ONLY'. I thought because it was Sunday, it didn't apply and left. And when I got back I got a ticket. Does anyone have any suggestion on what ground I can appeal this? Thanks This post has been edited by Dudely: Sun, 9 Dec 2018 - 23:08 |

Best post the PCN and pictures of the bay and signs.
A streetview location link is also useful. With what you have posted at the moment, only ground I can offer is insanity but think you need more then that. |

QUOTE I thought because it was Sunday, it didn't apply and left. Any parking restriction sign which has no days or times means to applies 24x7. Never, ever, assume anything when it comes to parking restrictions. Please post up what DD has requested asap, there could be errors of signage or PCN content. |

I got nothing, sorry.
About the only thing is if only slightly into the bay, a plea for discretion with an abject apology. Not that Glasgow are known for their disrection This post has been edited by DancingDad: Mon, 10 Dec 2018 - 13:05 |
