Not sure if driver should pay this now or not. Driver doesn't know where he would stand in court if he said there were no parking spaces left and had to be in work (no other parking spaces close by). Driver also paid for a years parking but no spaces left so had no choice but to go on double yellows.

Can you post up the intial PCN that was received.

Edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be surmised. Use "the driver......" etc.

Was this a railway station or such like subject to byelaws? Has the driver been identified?

Query the Principal sum + initial legal costs. In small claims court they are not allowed to claim legal costs, apart from the £50. The do this to bump up the claim.

@ostell think thats everything received from them. Would it be worth getting hold of them or filling out that form to say the driver owes some but not all of the money or something or is that a bad idea to have contact with them?

You were asked by ostell…

Was this a railway station or such like subject to byelaws? Has the driver been identified?

What are the answers to those questions?
