I'm amazed any respectable lawyer would even argue this, it's frankly ridiculous. -------------------- If you would like assistance with a penalty charge notice, please post a thread on https://www.ftla.uk/index.php

QUOTE He thought his human rights include the right to abuse children?!? Is that what was argued? I've not read the judgment yet but from what I gather, it was an Article 8 claim, which could only succeed if the court had accepted that the protection of children did not justify a legitimate and proportionate interference with his right to a private life. If the court had sided with him on that, it would effectively be saynig that your right to a private life includes a right to abuse children without being snooped upon by non-state investigators. -------------------- If you would like assistance with a penalty charge notice, please post a thread on https://www.ftla.uk/index.php
