I was at the Metrocentre Gateshead yesterday and noticed that the parking signs are still the same as previously. That's despite the Metrocentre having been sold to another company:
I'd suggest that there's been no separate UKCP / Sovereign parking contract arranged. As an afterthought perhaps I should have forgotten to have my blue badge on display to find out. -------------------- The Asda shopping trolley parking ticket enthusiast

If the contract was between the Metrocentre (as a wholly owned entity) and UKCP it would still move with the Metrocentre. Just like all the centres other contracts and similar (cleaning, rates). so I think this is a distinct nothing burger.
