looks very similar to the SPECS ones we have in Birmingham across a few of the major arterial routes

There is something very like this in Lincoln on the A15 that has replaced a Gatso, still got the lines on the road but also has the IR illuminators alongside. A quick Google suggests it is a Specs3 Vector. It's only been changed in the last year or so.
