A friend of mine has received a couple of PCNs recently and wanted to know if any of these would have a case for an appeal.

Sorry about the quality of the photos.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

This is one of the school streets that Hackney recently introduced to bar traffic during school start and end times.

One of the PCNs is for entering the one way part during the restricted time in the morning - 8.30 to 9.15 am.

The other PCN is going through the no entry the other way just after 2pm! That looks bang to rights.

Signage on the first one may be a point.

Yes the No Entry one does look like it can't be challenged. Hopefully the other one can...

We don't know - need to see pics of signs, which will need you to go take some. I could but am too busy this week.

Council will no doubt say they are adequate but on a another school street the signs were rather high up.

Ok. I'll try and get some. Thanks

Is there anything specific you'd need to see?

Well it's pretty well signed although I do think the main signs are a bit high up - we had another case where someone in Mini was rather low down in relation.

See what others say - they'll check the PCN too. But not looking good.

Any update on this? I have the same and am wondering whether I have a case or should just pay up.

I've asked a mod to split this out, once done upload your own PCN.
