Hello
I have been issued with two PCN notices again received on the same day 23/02/2021 for two dates a week apart
1. 10/02/2021
2. 17/02/2021

I am wondering why it as taken 13 days for the first offence to arrive and on the same day and the second offence to arrive 6 days after the offence if Lewisham council had been consistent in sending the PCN notices received after 6 days I would never have made the same error.

Again looking at the road when the flowerpot barriers and a giant NO ENTRY painted on the road and cycle lanes painted on the road it would be pretty obvious that you could not use this road
This not the case now

I cannot understand why the council would spend ratepayers monies to paint over the NO ENTRY painted on the road when the NO ENTRY is still enforceable also why the sign in the road as no written signage such as "NO MOTOR VEHICLES" or is the case that the bare minimum is that the council have erect the sign and that's all
And accept that all motorists know what the sign means

Most of the signs that i have seen have some sort of written signage attached to the sign such as
1. Permit holders only
2. Pedestrian zone
3. For Loading only
4. Or certain times when you are allowed to use the road

I can honestly say i have never this sign as just a bare sign with no caveats
Suppose will just have to suck up the £130 in fines huh.gif

The only thing I can suggest is to pay the first and make representations against the second, based on --

although not so contentiously; rather, by way of apology.

But wait a few days for other opinions.

I have no idea about the changes you mention. Has there been a change to the ETO?

This is scandalous and it's not really worth me putting yet another pennies worth but it makes one desperate to leave London, it's pure flagrant abuse and disrespect for fellow beings (or motorists). So unsavoury. I will launch my own chat for completness. Wisteria to Dermody and I'm not a resident so couldn't possibly have known about this utter nonsense, which I understand and could actually agree with by way of cleaner air but the implementation is abysmal and changes...so even residents are shafted!! (Not good).
