There has never been a no right turn sign in the 15 years I lived in the area. As shown there are no signs on Raglan street where I was parked that states this. There is a one way sign if you turn left as the road is no entry from the high road. If you turn right when you get to the bottom of the anglers lane you can turn right or left. I am struggling to upload my photos so hopefully the googled pictures are ok.

Was this a Council or Police penalty notice? Assuming you got one. In which case we need to see it.

Best post the PCN and any council photos or video.
Assuming this does relate to a PCN.

For what it is worth from streetview, cannot see that turning right into Anglers from Raglan is prohibited or that section of Anglers is one way.
Bottom end certainly isn't.

Use a pic site such as Imgur or Flickr to host pics. We need to see the PCN.

If you PM me the car reg and PCN number I'll check for council pics/video.

Surely you've been done for making not turning left into Prince of Wales Road from Anglers Lane:

The 4th pic on the PCN does look exactly like that junction on the GSV so that appears to be the location of the Right Turn . I guess that cars approaching from Anglers ( Willes on the GSV but there is a street nameplate showing Anglers) could be forgiven for not noticing the Turn Left sign on the Left Hand Pavement ..... Often these are situated straight ahead in line of vision or the street furniture is placed in such a way that cars cannot mistake which way to go ....or they could use NO LEFT TURN signs .

Looks like it.
1st pic at the junction
Last at the lights after right turn.

Can argue signs are not clear enough, for instance would not do any harm to have a left turn arrow on the road or a post mounted sign opposite or on island as well as the one on the left.
But would not be sure that would fly.

Thanks for your advice everyone, it didn't occur to me they were talking about the end of the road, obviously I never would have turned right if I noticed the sign, but I can't argue that so will just pay.

Just a point - you've lived there for 15 years and not known about the the keep left/no right turn? It may be relatively recent though.

According to GSV, it's been like that since at least 2009 - it looks like paying at the discount is the only option
Just shows how much attention some drivers pay.

It's possible as it was dark and I would have positioned myself to turn right I simply didn't notice it. I have won a big case with Camden for this exact same thing, a sign was posted but because of the angle of the turn was not visible. 'Just shows how much attention some drivers pay', appears to be a bit of a unnecessary dig. I've accepted my mistake and will pay it.

What I meant was - is this the first time you've ever driven to that junction, despite being there for many years? Not relevant really but just baffled.

I suppose camera enforcement could be recent.

Just found this Stanford. The sign is obscured at a certain point. I must have not seen the left turn only sign.

Link to Google Street View of exact location?

Well you're not answering my question, but yes I noticed the controlled zone sign - I wasn't sure it was blocking your view. If it looks like it was, then this is a definite appeal ground. The turn left sign does seem to be the only sign and there are no road markings?

If I were you I'd walk over there and take some pics.

Hi
It's very likely during the time I lived in the area I did drive down to prince of wales road, but whether I turned left or right I don't know. Would the image captured on google maps not be sufficient for appeal. Im only down there once a week and worrying about the time to get my appeal in. My pictures would just show how the sign obscures the left turn sign in the same way.

Well the street view is May 2017, so it may be different now. But I would certainly go ahead with an appeal on this basis - saying something like you didn't see any left turn signs and on examining Google Street View you can see that on approach the sign was obscured by controlled parking zone sign (enclosed).

Do you know anyone local who can take pics for you? I'm a bit too far away in London.

Yes possibly, for accuracy i'll see if someone to take the pictures at around the same time. I'm really grateful to you for your advice, I will let you know how it goes.
Thanks again.

There is a 'Turn Left' arrow on the road, just before where the black box is located by the wall. Of course CCTV PCNs are money for old rope as most people cough-up to get the discount. The photo showing the arrow sign obscured by the CPZ sign could win at adjudication, but I suspect it would be down to which adjudicator you get 'on the day'.

And, of course the arrow sign is unilluminated, whereas if they had placed 'No Right Turn' signs they probably would be and again, probably two of them as well. Of course councils will always do the bare minimum knowing challenges, and appeals to London Tribunals will be few, so the money will roll in like a tsunami.
