I got a ticket in a suspended bay, the signs are single sided and facing the road. The posts they are attached to are next to the curb, so when walking along the pavement the back is not visible.
Is this cause for an appeal? I dont have ay photos as I didn't see the ticket until the next day, it was tucked so far down the bonnet, had to chase it around the road in the rain the next morning, very funny. Thanks |

As restriction notices all face the road, no, but there may be other avenues, yuo'll really need a photo of the sign plus a photo/scan of ALL the PCN please. Read the FAQ on how to post them up.

OP---there seems to be a temporary order below the suspension sign. Could you get a photo of what it says please?

There are no photos available on 'Manage My PCN, only the following message:
Photos related to this Penalty Charge Notice are not available for viewing online. Please allow up to 24 hours for PCN photos to become available online from the time of issue. Its been well over 24 hours, so I dont think they are going to be posted. I thought this odd, but couldn't get any info/photos from the Council as they said that they cannot discuss it other than in writing, with a 20 day reply time. I will be going past the area tonight, so will get a photo of the temporary order. |

Email the council and ask for photos, you might as well get the ball rolling on that.

Yes I have emailed, them, but I highly doubt I will hear back within the 14 days I have to pay the reduced fee. What are my options? I do not want to be unsuccessful and have to pay £130 when I could have paid half that.

If it comes to it you can make representations on the 14th day, and if they reject they will re-offer the discount. In the meantime you should get the photos.

If you're making representations just to get the discount extended, you could go down the route of asking them to exercise discretion to cancel.
