I've just received two PCN's for one alleged loading bay offence:
I'd just finished loading and was returning to my vehicle when I saw 2 community police standing by my taxi in the loading bay. I was told that I had been longer than the prescribed time, they hadn't seen me loading and the taxi wasn't a commercial vehicle. I replied that there was no time limit in the sign, and it wasn't my fault they hadn't seen me loading. No ticket was issued and so therefore I drove off. I have now received two PCN's for this. Is this a defence in itself or shall I state that no offence took place as I had adhered to the sign. Thanks |

Yes it was on a red route.
So, any ideas as to why I have been sent two tickets for the one alleged offence ? Is it still for them to prove I wasn't loading ? |
