Hello

I've received a claim form from county court business centre the claimant is VCS. My English is limited. But they are claiming a total of £185. They claim that my car was parked in a private car park breaching the T&C's in mid 2017. I've not released the drivers details or acknowledged any other correspondence from them. Ive done an AOS on line but do i have a defence i don't have long so please can anyone help?

Yes, I gave you some on the last draft. I assume you've found more since then?

I've received a Notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track along with directions questionnaire. Free meditation is being offered. what shall i do accept meditation of that fails what happens next and will there be additional fees i would need to pay?

A quick search on here re. Mediation will tell you all you need to know about not touching it with an enlarged bargepole.

Mediation is unlikely to assist you. Selecitng no is the usual suggestion
If you lose at the hearing there is the hearing fee of £25 on top, thats it.

will it go against me if i say no to mediation? i was thinking of giving it a try mse says £40 Court allocation fee - to get the claim to the court (if claim is over £1,500).

£25 - £325 Hearing fee - paid if and when your case gets to court (when done online).

so it could cost £325

No, agaiun - please research this on here. The advice is consistent. We dont want to keep explaining it.

The hearing fee will not be £325. Thats for a £10,000 claim.
