Hi there. just a bit of quick guidance needed please.
I read a post on here, regarding the 1st respond / appeal to PPC . It suggested waiting till day 26 to post. The PCN states reply in writing,, but gives mailing address and email address. Im just a little confused if the 26th day reply is for postage or email ? I assume if emailing, one should wait a little longer. Another Q - I have received a PCN Reminder, which appears almost the same as the original PCN. The original had POFA reference, but reminder does not. Is this acceptable ? Causes confusion. Many thanks |

You should reply by post, with a proof of postage receipt.
Unless it's serioulsy pressing for time tell us a bit more and post up the documents and your response for critique. DON't identify who was driving, refere as "the driver" and "the keeper" and redact personal details out. |

If posting just get free proof of posting. if emailing just send a copy to yourself. If emailing then leaving it till day 27 would be ok. They should not be sending reminders so soon. It's a breach of the code of practice and I believe also of POFA. They have to wait 28 days before reminders can be sent or further action taken. |
