PCN - Yellow Line - Sunday, No Kerb Markings and no signs Options

Parked my car on a yellow line on a Sunday. No signs (on my side of the street) and no kerb markings so no problem. Or so I thought. Returned to find a PCN on my car.

















Have I got a good appeal?

I know that I was in a CPZ but I'm wondering whether its worth appealing on the grounds that there was no CPZ sign on the entrance into the zone at Orchard A307 junction.

I don't think the letter from the council covers this.

Are you sure that Orchard A307 junction is the boundary to this CPZ - that's why I posted the map.

EDIT

Also the list of entry points they list doesn't include the one I showed before - this one (I think):

makes me think they don't have much of a clue about how the zone is signed.

A307 sign

Not sure how far the signs need to be from where I parked but this is the last one on the route I took. Long way from where I parked.
