Hi, I'm new here, I recently received a bus lane fine in Manchester oxford road.
I'm hoping someone with experience with bus lane tickets on oxford road or bus lane tickets in general to give me some advice on how i can argue and avoid this. If anyone knows this road, I turned from whitworth street (the road on the right behind the car as shown in the picture) into the bus road. I have used this turn before and i havent had a ticket, is it new? If anyone has any good arguments against this please let me know. thank you. P.s. guys, i have no idea how to attach the picture of my fine to you....i compressed it to 700kb and when i click upload, the thing just disappears, anyone know how? As you almost certainly don’t have a bus lane fine can you tell us what you have?
It will likely either be a police fixed penalty notice which is criminal and you are in the right forum, or a council penalty charge notice which is decriminalised and should be in the council forum. Is this a bus lane or a road only for busses and therefore a bus gate? -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

This should be in the council forum, I've asked a mod to move it. We've had lots of cases on this road and there's a good chance, depending on the exact location, that the signage is inadequate. Upload the PCN (all sides of all pages) obscuring just your number plate/name/address, leave everything else in. It's best to use a site like imgur or flikr to upload the images.

it's a whole road for a bus ( im sure it didnt used to be) so i guess it's a bus gate?
