I drove behind another car on the motorway this morning who opened his window, emptied a can of drink which sprayed all over my car, then threw the can out of the window which hit my car at 70mph leaving a nice deep mark on my front bumper with the paint taken off.

I pulled up alongside him gesticulating to pull over but he just shrugged and sped off. Not only that, but I have probably never seen anyone with such atrocious driving skills. Weaving in and out of traffic without indicating, driving right up the backside of other cars and undertaking and squeezing into gaps where other motorists have to brake to avoid a collision.

I reported him to the police who weren't interested in the slightest. They just said to go through my insurance. I rang my insurance who said it would go down as a fault claim as there's little chance they'd be able to recover the costs from the 3rd party insurer.

What a just world we live in...

How will you moderate posts you can't see?

You think I read them anyway? No, it's completely random throwing of thunderbolts from on high.

How is Mount Olympus at this time of year?

Whatever I tell it to be, obvs.

If you wished to not be questioned, then the Flame Pit was not quite the appropriate sub-forum

I will be following your posts very closely from now on. I'll have a few 'questions' of my own when the time comes. wink.gif

I hope that this attempt above works as a quote

answer then should appear below

Well clearly if it is in a non flame pit forum I would presume that your "questions" would be appropriate to the sub forum used. Otherwise. I am not sure what you mean regards a few "questions of my own when the time comes"

That appears to me that you will, should I need to post, attack the veracity of my post. Adding a smiley emoticon at the end does not remove the implied threat.

Lets keep this civil.

you seem to miss a rather fundemental point this is the flame pit. If I post in another forum then your attacking the veracity of a statement would be inappropriate, it has nothing whatsover to do with it being on the other foot as you so smugly put it.

And you seem to be missing a rather fundamental point, which I pointed out in a previous post in this thread. You don't have carte blanche to rip into a poster simply because they've correctly started a thread here that would have been off-topic in any other section of the forums.
