Hi all,

Long Story Short:
Lately received such letter from the above companies. No PCN or any previous letters had been delivered to me.
Also checked on Experian and found a CCJ issued against me back at 2017. (Ofc I did not received any letters either from court of CEL or they went for my old address which I see was quite often the case)

I've read through this and different forums that CCJ is maximum the PPCs can do to anyone, is that true?
Since I don't intend on applying for any loan or mortgage I think would be the best case to wait till the CCJ will expire.
But my question is, when CCJ expire will I still need to pay that money to the CEL/ZZPS?
Or I should still worry about it when the 6 year period for my CCJ expire, since I don't intend to pay them anything?
Here is link to original letter. The attaching through attachments did not worked. sad.gif

Have you moved house recently and not updated you V5?

You can get the judgement overturned, cost £255 without consent or £100 with their consent

Phone the court and find out a bit more about the CCJ.

They also lie in that unless the claim is for £600 or more it will not go via the high court

After 6 years it is still a valid claim but they would have to go through the courts to seek permission

Yeah around that time I've moved out (been changing homes quite few times between 2016-2017 due to personal reasons), but sent v5m form first thing and there is a chance that at time of alleged offence DVLA did not updated their records yet. Fortunately claim is between 200-400 GBP.
What I find strange that these two letters came to address happened I started to live few months after court issued CCJ. Only wondering how did they got 'finally' got hold of correct adress ohmy.gif

You were probably findable if you are on the council tax register etc.

It should be overturnable because of the wrong address. CEL may be willing to agree as long as you pay the CCJ and the £100. On the other hand you may like to fight.

The court has decided you owe them money. You haven't paid up. You now have a 6-year bad credit rating. Paying it now won't fix your rating. In 6 years time you will still owe them the money (as far as I'm aware). Like suggested in their letter there are many things they can do to force you to pay up, which may incur further costs. Whether they will is another matter.
