Hi,
I have finally received claim papers from these parasites after nearly two years of threatening letters. I would like to submit a counter claim to cover the work I have undertaken and will need to undertake in order to defend this scam. 1) These people claim in their PoC to be the managers of the Private car park, but the place in question is the Town Quay, Southampton. 2) I did not park my vehicle as stated 3) I believe I can provide a witness as the person I was meeting was a paying client for my services as a Chauffeur. I want to submit the N9B (SDT) Defence and Counterclaim (specified amount)(04.13) I would like to try for the sum of £280 (8 hours admin work @ £35 per hour. In your opinion, should I go down this route? I know it will cost me £25 or so to make the claim but I am absolutely sick to the back teeth of these people and want to fight them head on. I have already successfully contested two court appearances against ParkingEye, so I am reasonably acquainted with the courts. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. |

Just for the record.
CEL discontinued their claim. I have just found the papers at the bottom of my in-tray. Sorry for the delay to anyone that was following the post. Thanks to everyone on here that helped me along the way. Cheers |

And did you have a counterclaim active?

Just for the record. CEL discontinued their claim. Who told you that: CEL, their solicitor or the court. It may be worth checking with the court. PPCs have been known to announce a discontinuance but not actually telling the court. Make sure it is coming from the horses mouth. |
