Also monitoring car pending turning across both lanes form the junction. Had been traveling at 68 mph on clocks (66 in real speed) via range cruise control (self breaking, speed up and down function based on radar scanning of road in front). Know the stretch well (travel once a week from Glasgow to Aberdeen for work). Simply didn't register the junction until I had passed camera and reach junction which I immediately braked at but was to late. The camera is a Fixed Camera. Was speeding so accept this. Need to know what to expect.

No I've been driving for over 20 years and should have known better as that's a terrible bit of road.

Actually the cruise control does auto stop but I've never had cause for it to be used to date.

Rookie was referring to your misspelling of braking as breaking - for some reason a very common misspelling of the term. Fairly sure it was in jest rather than serious pedantry
