Hello all,

My second case concerning 38 in a 30 has been droped by North Wales
CPS cos they would not provide the full session video.

I had an email from the cps policy directorate which clearly stated that
I was entitled to the full session video, but N.W. CPS refused and after 6
visits to wrexham magestrats courts they dropped it.

What is contained in the video that they dont want us to see or hear?

Would the video contain audio from inside the TaliVan?

So anyone who has been acused of speeding, just fight all the way, twice
now they have backed down for me.

Thanks to everyone who has given me advise and support over the last 12 months,

I suspect the video will show readings jumping from normal readings to wild readings as the lazer beam slips off target

Sound would be funny....

cogratulations by the way...

Hi,

I am both shocked and bewildered. icon_eek.gif

Why would the head of ACPO’s traffic committee drop the prosecution in your case icon_question.gif

He uses Lastec traffic videos to entertain his friends in the media so, why would he discontinue the prosecution in your case; rather than disclosing a harmless traffic video, that surely will only have recorded the unacceptable behaviour of errant motorists?

The good thing is that mendacious individuals always get found out in the end.

Well done. icon_wink.gif

Now is the time to pay a solicitor to write a letter (min cost) to the Police under section 35 of the Data Protection Act asking for an unedited copy of the full video because you may take legal action against either the police or the CPS

You must do it under section 35 otherwise they will only give you the an ediited section showing only your car.

Hi markav15,

Give 'em hell! They deserve everything they get! icon_twisted.gif

Have you thought of writing a strongly worded letter to your MP explaining that you have no confidence in our crap police service, and you will, henceforth, withdrawn all support for our police icon_idea.gif

You could also add that if you saw one of their officers getting a thorough kicking from some Chav Scum, you'd never get involved and choose to walk away icon_idea.gif

Is this the same traffic video which Mr Green was told was entirely secret & even he could not view it @ Cardiff because of the Data Protection Act?

I think Mr Brainstorm should be reported to the Data Protection Registrar!

Divbad.... exactly what I was thinking as I read the BBC report..... he's paraded someone elses personal details in public, thus violating the DPA (1998).

Markav.... respect for beating the system! Now can I have some of what ever you ate for dinner that day?!

icon_idea.gif Worthy sections of the DPA can be found HERE and HERE

Have you claimed costs yet? Can you claim missed wages, too?

Mark.
I'm fighting a similar case and it would be helpful if I could produce some case history from people who have had their case dismissed due to the failure of the police to provide evidence would you be willing to tell me you name and the date of the hearing?

Oh. Now there's a shock. blush.gif

Probably means there were some duff readings on it. Maybe Mr. Brunstrom would like to call a press conference to explain this to the taxpayer. Maybe he'd like to bring Frank along. There must be a "Zone of Probability" somewhere on the tape......

Longjohn, use your own thread with full details, and read up 'disclosure' on the forums and in the main site!
