Received today, final demand for nearly £8000 to settle PCN from 2013/2014 for parking in supermarket car park. Driver was shopping and parked at supermarket and had blue badge displayed. Car no longer owned. Driver has not received any letters about the supposed penalty charge since 2013/2014. All ignored at the time. Driver returned home today to find signed for letter from DRP which son signed informing that the account was on hold until July after which they will instruct their client to go to court. General advice read is to completely ignore DRP demands. Should driver continue to and await court paperwork? Utterly amazed at amount demanded as well as lack of communication for so many years yet suddenly making demands now - in recent weeks upto 16 letters per day for same PCN for the 2013/2014 period received.
