Windscreen ticket or a Notice to Keeper letter ?

If a windscreen ticket, appeal on Day 26 as the keeper
Never identify yourself as the driver
Change your original post to "The driver" didn't buy etc

State that the driver did not the the signs that are in breach of their trade association's Code of Practice
Even if he had, he would be a trespasser
Only the land-owner has the legal capacity to demand a payment for trespass and is only entitled to nominal damages

Then ignore all correspondence short of an actual Letter Before Claim

So the car was in a pay and display car park and the driver did not pay? What did you think would happen? Which food outlet and waht did the signs say? A copy of the PCN would be helpful;, with identifying details redacted.

So this was a permit only area. Photos of the signs would be helpful.

Also edit you posts so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred.

Were you on road or off road as it looks like the highway. If you were on road, check with the council that the part you parked on was highway and not private.
