There is no obligation to give you any "ticket" at the time of the stop.

Please start your own thread. Hijacking other threads just causes confusion.

Looks bang to rights to me.
DYL covers from middle of road to private property line including paths and verges.

So it looks like a CoFP for 3 points and £100.

So the fine for not doing something that technically isn't even required

But more importantly, is required by law.

I'm obviously missing something...

OP (driver) admits to parking on DYL, seeing CEO, talking to CEO and drives away.

But denies being there to adjudicator:

"Mr Davies denied being at the location. He said he lives so close to the shop that he would have been able to walk. He said the CEO ... must have made an error."

Isn't that blatant, bare-faced lying?

Is there not a log for the vehicle?

Reminders are not an obligation, but why would your company need one?

ACPO guidelines would appear to say otherwise

Guidelines are nothing more than guidelines.

QUOTE (not_guilty @ Mon, 20 Aug 2018 - 15:03) *
there's also no certificate of calibration

The police have told you that? Or are you just guessing (not that it would automatically dismiss your reading in any case)

QUOTE (not_guilty @ Mon, 20 Aug 2018 - 15:03) *
There was also no vehicle on the bridge, just the hidden operator and his camera.

So?

QUOTE (turbooj @ Sun, 19 Aug 2018 - 14:20) *
The NIP states the location where the offence occurred as A4 Sussex Place, London, Slough. But the camera is actually located on London Road, Slough - I've managed to get a photo of the incident, and that letter states the location to be London Road, Slough (site number 944). Do I have any grounds for appeal for stating the wrong location in their NIP?

Sussex Place appears on the map to have a junction with London Road. I doubt the detail will make any difference, especially since it is unlikely to have affected you in any way negatively.

Since you were not the driver, you simply need to name the driver at the time, and if they have an issue with the allegation they can post back here for assistance.

[attachment=57367:2208DF7C...8DF5E2C1.jpeg]I received a nip for 48 on this 40 stretch. The calibration certificate shows one of the tools used to calibrate the camera was itself calibrated over a year before the camera was calibrated. According to the home office police scientific branch, these tools should be calibrated annually. How can they have a valid certificate if it wasn’t carried out to the police’s own guidelines? I am upload them if anyone is interested and tells me how. Surely if enough people challenge it on for this reason they cannot use evidence from this camera??[attachment=57366:33E8418B...BE8887A2.jpeg]

An out of date calibration certificate does not automatically invalidate the device.
How do you know you have the most up-to-date certs?

does the sign being broken and moveable have any defense. thanks smile.gif

Parking on pavement has been banned in London for decades, so unless there's a sign allowing parking on pavement, you're bang to rights.

Make, model and colour not required on PCN.

Did you drive away before PCN was served on your car?

If the PCN was issued by City of London and not a PPC, press "report" and ask a mod to move your post to the correct forum.

Simply name the other family member that was driving the car. Simples.

Sure it was posted 2nd class, or maybe it was discounted 1st class?

would the van have taken a picture to help identify the driver?

The photo is taken to identify the vehicle.

The photos/video may show the driver, or may not.

If any of your car crossed the white line going forwards when the lights were red, then the offence is complete.

You'll have to wait 14 days and see what arrives in the post, (assuming you're the RK).

FTFY

Agreed. Thought that would be obvious, but should have included.

We need to know the speed, otherwise the likely outcome is unknown.

Agreed re the address. Speed was 83mph.

Wording looks fine.

Even though it's not completed? The sentence isn't even finished!

The required information is contained within the NIP.
