Hi all,
I received a PCN from my local authority for being in a bus lane two minutes before the restriction ends. Is there any way out of this at all? I have tried to view the image online but it doesn't appear, nor does the video. However, they have included two images in the pcn, any help would be appreciated. The pcn can be viewed here: https://imgur.com/dlashmm |

Video - timed at less than 2 mins so can try minimal time - what made you use the lane?

Hi,
Thank you for your response. To be completely honest with you the clock on my car is set about 5 minutes ahead so I didn't realise at the time that it was 9:58. |

Well I think you have a very strong case that the dates on the PCN are misleading and prejudicial, but I suspect PMB has a few ideas on how to word a challenge so I'll wait for him to comment.

Ok sounds promising. I'm concerned that I may lose the 50% discount (which expires this Sunday). So far it appears as if I may have grounds (not entirely sure what they are), but I'm struggling to put together the words and justification for my challenge before Sunday arrives

Hello PASTMYBEST, just a gentle reminder if you can please prepare some wording for me. I cannot thank you all enough for your support in this matter. I think I have until Sunday or Monday to put in reps, whilst the 50% is on offer. But you all give me great confidence that the fine was not appropriate and therefore I have a legal challenge.
I look forward to your response |

I look forward to your response the 14 day period actually ends on Tuesday though if you take what the council say it has already expired go online to the payment page and see how much they want today? let me know and if £60 get a screenshot that includes the date and all the detail -------------------- All advice is given freely. HI PMB, I have gone onto the payment page and it appears as 30 GBP so the discount is still there, screenshot link is below. Is there any chance you can please draft up a challenge for me?
Also, I believe today is the last day to challenge the fine within the 14 day discount period. https://imgur.com/pU9DBFx This post has been edited by IpsyDipsy: Mon, 23 Sep 2019 - 10:57 |
