Hello Everyone,

I received the below PCN for making a prohibited left turn, this was only recently enforced and didn`t come up on the navigation app when I drove through. I am hoping that someone is able to help. I have already appealed and they have rejected the appeal. My appeal was based on the fact that there is no evidence from the CCTV to suggest that I have made a prohibited left turn on the 04/06/2019. I have also asked for the TMO which they have provided.

In the rejection, they attached another image from the 15/06/2019 (11 days after the contravention) to show that there were signs in place. Do you think I can still appeal based on the fact that the CCTV does not show me committing the alleged offence? I am arguing that the signs were not there in the first place.

Thanks for you advice.

My bad... so in the representation. I mentioned that there is no evidence to suggest there was any sign as they didn`t show me a footage of my vehicle turning left with the sign showing. I said that they only showed me turning left without the sign on the frame.

I also requested for the TMO for that sign.

To have an accurate one, should I not lodge the appeal and say evidence to follow? I have seen on the forums that the council will have 7 days to send their evidence through and I should send mine 5 days before the hearing.

Should i just lodge an appeal now and say "evidence to follow?"

I would go for the "evidence to follow" approach.

Why haven't you?
Do you realise when the deadline is?

PMB asked for your reps, not blank LT appeal forms.

PMB mentioned I have until the 18th of September to lodge the appeal which is why I didn`t do it earlier. He also mentioned he will help me draft the appeal.

Correct but I doubt PMB has advised you to wait.

Like me, he knows there's a particular reason you should register asap against WF.

Hello PMB,

I have registered the appeal and they will be sending me email confirmation. I will keep a lookout if anything has been sent by WF? Are we just waiting for WF to get back now?

Just wait for PMB to write up.
Let us know when you get confirmation of a hearing date.
Nothing more you need to do for a few days.

Yep I want to see what they come back with. I have an appeal ready to post but will hold fire till either you must submit( normally 5 days before the date of hearing) or WF post their evidence and summery

Dont not worry you will not be left hanging

Theres a road like that on the nort side of the rotherhithe tunnel in london. No left turns (right turn only) its a t junction. It wont cause any delay or inconvenience to turn left. I guess the traffic overlords just want that road to be used for certain direction of traffic.

In response to a PM I told the OP to post the council evidence or come back on the 16th oct if the council have not responded by then I just need to dot the i's and cross the t's on an appeal and then a rebuttal of council evidence if required
