So, going along the A44 in Oxford; Woodstock Road near the Peartree Park & Ride place. Road is a 30, I was doing well over. Went through the light but it was green, had no flash at all. It was a grey box, tall. No road markings to indicate a speed camera, and no road signs before to say there was a speed camera/traffic light camera. This happened yesterday (Sunday - 18/11/18)
Here is the road: As you can see, no road markings, the camera is a fair bit behind the line. After the light there is another camera, pictured here. I've been told this is an ANPR camera after the lights. My question is.. have I been caught? Like I mentioned, no flash, no road markings, no signs or anything. Good Morning Everyone, I know this post is old, But what I want to know is does this camera Flashes if you cross on amber line? The reason I am asking is because Yesterday Night A34 were closed off and I did a diversion using A44, when I approached The traffic light just on traffic light and it started changing to Amber, as I am lorry driver 44ton on me way back, I just couldn't bring myself to slam on and went through it, I am pretty sure it was amber when I half way cross the line, I Did Not see a camera flash at all, and I was doing 30 round about, when I came off A34 there were no signs showing as to what speed I should be doing and my satnav showed 60mph. Where do I stand can someone shed some light on this, I got 0 points on me licence so I am kinda a bit worried like thanks.

I presume you mean if you cross the line against an amber light (there being no amber line) then no, it only enforces when the light is red, even then most apply a short grace period (0.5s is common) after the light turns red.
The offence is committed if ANY part of the vehicle crosses the stop line when the light is red, so the cab can be some way past it on an artic' and you still commit an offence. -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

Whilst this is correct, in practice some common sense seems to be applied when it comes to long vehicles. -------------------- Regards,
