Hi all, my friends mum has received a supposed NIP through the post, however some details on the letter are missing and so are wondering if it is legit or not also She tells us that she was at home in bed at the time of the offence.
The details missing is the speed limit of the road and there is no PIN on the letter for her to type in the details on her website. Could it be a scam? Could it be an admin error? Cloned plates? Thanks in advance. |

It's a legit NIP. The only details required are:
The registration number of the vehicle (and you should have obscured this) The offence committed The location The date and time The speed limit (which is clearly 30 MPH) and detected speed are not required to be stated. Call them up and ask them for the PIN, so you can view the photographs. |

You've left the registration number in the picture
When she says she thinks she was at home, does that mean somebody else was driving, or the car wasn't there ? Is the location somewhere the car could have been but on a different date or time, eg an hour change mistake ? |
