Hi Everyone,

I've had a read but couldn't find a thread about a Parking Charge Notice - please could someone point me in the right direction?

I'm a little bit pieved as I run a kids rugby team and visited a club recently for a game on a Sunday morning. Their car park was tiny and full so a member from the club we were visiting told us to park across the way in a Range car park.

The driver didn't think anything more of it until today when I, as the registered keeper, received a Parking Charge Notice from ParkingEye for £100 for staying too long.

This seems crazy, especially for a Sunday morning?

Post up ticket (both sides) - edit out personal details, Car reg, PCN number

- and edit your post somehow to "The Driver" - as we don't know who the driver was, do we...

Use the report button bottom left and ask a mod to move it

Did they have any authority to state this? (I mean any actual agreement with The Range?)

The store was open - arguably the system is to prevent exactly this type of parking.

Unfortunately, the NtK seems complete to pursue the keeper.

I don’t know if they did have authority but to be honest I can’t believe they would because, as you say, I think they set it up to prevent use by the club. Although I’ve read lots of threads on here about The Range car park systems. Yes the store was open, but the car park was empty though.

The driver honestly didn’t see the signs, I guess because they are on the wall of the Range but they exited in the corner of the car park to cross the road.
