Cheers

Interesting question, as obviously it's a bit difficult to make them solid over a slotted metal grate
designed for draining water.

Probably nobody has had the nerve to challenge on this point alone,
or have they ??

I'm sure nobody when drawing up the Parking Regulations thought it would come to this,
with every detail being checked & challenged.

Every month I'm dealing with another joke ticket & I've appealed so many over the years.
Go for it, we've all had enough of overzealous parking enforcement.

There is also good odds against the Council sending you some dodgy documentation along the way.

If they are classed as broken then maybe the only possible way around it would be to t-bar the line where it meets the grate then t-bar it where it begins on the other side.

I seem to be looking at yellow lines more than I'm looking for camera vans these past few days and I can't believe how many are missing t-bars or are broken.

Nah, they wouldn't go for that as you'll be able to fit a smart car in the gap otherwise smile.gif

The easiest break in double Yellows is where they have placed speed humps and painted the white approach lines over the yellows making the yellows unenforecable.
