The driver stayed at a hotel for one night. It was a group booking and the driver arrived after the group so may have missed instructions re: parking ticket or something.

Anyway, the driver’s understanding was parking was included with the room and is 90% sure the receptionist wrote down the car reg during check in. The driver also parked in a disabled bay with a disabled badge displayed.

I’ve just received an NTK. There was NOT a physical PCN or clear signage indicating instructions. Bearing in mind the car park is 24 hours and the driver arrived when it was dark therefore any signage obscured would be even more difficult to see.

The NTK says there was a terminal in reception to enter the car reg however the driver was not informed of this by the receptionist.

The NTK includes 2 photos of entering and leaving the car park with time steps.

The NTK was also only received today however was supposedly sent over a week ago.

What’s the next steps? Contact the hotel to get them to dismiss it? Appeal it?

Thanks.

So your POPLA appeal is along the lines of your PE appeal, the failure to comply with POFA

For info, threads don't get 'archived' in the way you suggest.
