I received a parking ticket last month to which i appealed the same night and I haven't heard anything back from them. It was £35 for the discount if you paid without 14 days but they had froze it as there was an appeal outstanding but just looked online and it has now gone up to £70 and they haven't replied to my appeal or rejected it??!
I have a confirmation email of my appeal saying that they will try and respond within 10 days.

Is the address on your V5 registration document up-to-date ? We see lots of cases where letters get sent to an OP's previous address because the V5 has not been updated. Updating a driving licence address does NOT update the V5.

Fairly typical.
Your reps are in a queue waiting to be seen.
Meanwhile computer is still counting days and has automatically removed the discount.
When reps get looked at, discount should be reinstated.

Post the PCN etc so we can give anything more meaningful

There is no statutory time limit for responding to informal reps. Some councils take over a month or even more. If nothing after a month check to make sure a Notice to Owner hasn't been sent out. It is an unfortunate fact of life that council parking departments are a pretty dozy lot. Nobody goes to work in such departments as a career-enhancing move.
