Have used the access for years to get to M4. Mid August got PCN for passing through restricted access late July. Where are the signs though?!

I was in a state of panic for over 2 weeks as passed through the access about 9 times since late July so that would total £1,300 full fine or 50% of that if paid early.

Money making scheme by LBH on the basis that locals have complained about congestion at Phoenix Way! Seriously?
If 2/3 cars turning left or right into Phoenix Way adhoc throughput early morning is congestion, you need to experience what it’s like trying to get to the end of Cranford Lane to get to A312 to get to M4 since the restriction has been put in place!!! 30minutes+ unless you’re by Phoenix Way @ 07:10 and even then 15minutes+ at times. What shocks me is the Heston & Cranford Ward Councillor’s endorsed it!! Who’s interests are they representing except their own performance pay possibly - it’s certainly not mine nor clearly all of us stung by the restriction. As if it wasn’t bad enough the number of properties constructed in these local wards in recent years adding at least 100 more cars on the road and no thought given to the pressure on the surrounding road network, they close off exit routes!!!

Anyway to the point. My appeal was refused by LBH. Represented to London Tribunals based on draft from CP8759. Spot on! LBH letter today stating they’re on contesting. Case closed for this PCN. I’m hoping they’ll down tools for the other 9 times I drove through the access. Let’s see b

Thank you CP8759. Silent Knight in Shining Amour.
