someone tell me this is a joke, I have a Moneyclaim.gov.uk request that came through the post after I ignored the letters.

I have Done an Acknowledgement of Service to the CC Business centre online but I don't know what to put in my defence really?

ITs worth just mentioning these pictures ar the Evidence from NWCP's own Website blink.gif

It says it was issued for 'unauthorised parking'?

Why did you ignore them?

Generally, yes. But you need to find out what the charge was issued for - can you recheck the location/signage?

'Unauthorised parking' is usually in a permit only zone for example.

Remove those pictures

You've left your registration number and the PCN number

Parking companies follow this forum and will use any information they find

Why do you think it may have been issued ?
It was issued at 13:00, three minutes before the parking ticket expired

It's possible that NWCP terms and conditions say that you mustn't top up the parking
It looks as if the driver bought a second ticket at 12:15 but this was before the first ticket expired

Do not say who was driving
Only refer to the driver

What is the EXACT wording of the claim ?
Leave out registration and PCN numbers

Pictures Removed, thanks for the heads up,

Signage up there is :-

From my understanding this is just a Public Pay and display car park no permits required.

Wording of the Claim is :-

on the 19/07/2018 at 13.02 the defendant's Nissan Qashqai (Reg) was parked on Seymour road car park (TL), Blackpool. The signage on the cark park states car parking is permitted for Vehicles fully displaying a valid pay and display ticket etc. By parking or remaining at this site other than in accordance wotj the above, you, the driver, are agreeing to the following contractual terms: You Agree to pay consideration in the form of a 'parking charge' in the sum of £100, to be paid within 28 days of issue. this is reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. no evidence of payment having being made therefore parking was unauthorised. PCN***** was affixed to the vehicle windscreen at the time of issue. the defendant is liable for a 'Parking Charge' in the sum of £100 which remains unpaid, liability for the same having been brought to the attention of the driver by clear signage in and around the Site at the time of parking. the Claimant claims the parking charge of £100 plus additiona admin costs of £40 for 4 letters sent.

Signs seem to say you can't pay and display? What's the parking meter for then????

Parkonomy only.

Indeed, their particulars lie, quite apparently

You cannot possibly pay and then display a digital ticket
That's item one in the defence sorted.

Give us the DATE OF ISSUE

Date of issue for the Claim form is 29th October and I submitted Ackknowledgement of service yesterday.

I had a look at car park from an aerial view (Google maps) there are pay and display meters near the front of the Travelodge itself.

You have 33 days from date of issue for the court to get your SIGNED , EMAILED as pdf defence
Do not use the online portal to submit, at all.

The point I made was that even if meters exist, their signs forbid you from using them
Meaning they have created an ambiguous situation and their offer of a contract fails
Add in, that their signs make it impossible for you to display a ticket meaning their particulars of claim are a lie
