Hey I got a 30quid ticket last July in my old car which I actually forgot about. It went up to 60 then 90 they said car was black although it is Blue, Sherrif officers came to my door today when I was out and left a note saying in terms of schedules 3 & 6 of road traffic act 1991 as amended which authorised recovery of penalty charged. £169.10
I've to pay within 14days to Scott&co LLP. If I don't I'm liable to have further action including arrestment of earnings and auction of my belongings. Penalty charge is £90 Charge fee £79.10 😅 What steps do i take. I no longer own car and.can't remember who was.driving that day. |

You are liable as the owner, who was driving is irrelevant. Did you receive all the paperwork and just chose to ignore it?

It doesn't matter who was driving - it was your car at the time?
Seems only yourself to blame - forgetting about it instead of dealing with it. Best to pay it? This post has been edited by peterguk: Thu, 15 Feb 2018 - 20:34 -------------------- |
