What is the DOC REF date on the v5? Looks like the S172 etc went to the former keeper first. Why 3 threads?

Look on the bottom of page 2 of the V5C, and find the Doc Ref number, next to it is a date, what is that date and what is the date of the alleged offence?

The driver identity needs to be supplied regardless of any 'late' NIP.

The DVLA takes some time to update their records but no usually that long - checking the DOC REF as noted is the first step.

This is the date the DVLA actually did update their records - if the date of the offence is prior to this then the previous keeper will likely have been contacted first.
