I read somewhere on here that the two year probationary period of 6 points following the passing of your driving test only applies to the first time you pass your test regardless of vehicle, is this correct?
If I passed my car licence in 1987 and motorbike licence in 2005, does this probationary period apply for the bike licence or is it cancelled out due to the length of time I've passed my car test?
I have searched the government sites to no avail.
