Received a window ticket for 'not parking in a designated bay'. Did however pay the parking charge for stay at the hospital (paid on exit).
Window Ticket states that 'if payment is not received within 14 days...details of reg. keeper will be sought from DvLA' etc etc I note and have checked that the parking company is indeed a 'BPA Approved Operator'. Can anyone please advise if the next steps are still valid? PLAN A: I understand from the forum (below) that I should first complain.. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showth...d.php?t=4816822 And as it is a BPA company I should wait 3 weeks.. All correct so far? |

Your third sentence is horrid. Make it more concise. Just staye you annot decide not to accept an appeal, received within time, jsut because you dont like it coming from a keeper. Your ATAs CoP does not permit this course of action, as per...

Hang on, it's a windscreen ticket therefore 14 days is not relevant here it's 28 to 56. Appeal AS THE KEEPER, so that the appeal arrives on day 26. You give your name and address. The hope is that they continue to write to you without sending a NTK before day56 or not contacting the DVLA for keeper details Edit your postvsu that the identity of the keeper cannot be inferred. Use "the driver ........." etc Day 56 has now passed and CP Plus have not sent me a NTK or, I assume, contacted the DVLA. Should I now assume that this has been dropped and they are no longer going to chase me? |

Should I now assume that this has been dropped and they are no longer going to chase me? Have a look on their website, going as if to pay the parking charge, and see what its status is. If it is showing as 'cancelled' or 'not recognised' (or similar wording) take a screenshot for posterity - their game is over. If it is still showing your charge as 'live', sit back and await their next move. A failure to issue a NtK (following a windscreen ticket) within 56 days means they can no longer hold the keeper liable. POPLA will support you on this (with a correctly worded appeal) if/when CP Plus send a rejection and verification code. Whichever way up, their game is over. |

There is no option on their website to check the status. It simply asks for the PCN no. and amount payable and then straight on to entering all my payment and address details.

Contact the DVLA to see who, if any, has contacted your details SubjectAccess.Requests@dvla.gov.uk
If there has been no access then a letter to CPP telling them to go away as they cannot now hold the keeper liable |
