Why start a new thread for the same case when you already have one running?

Could you explain what you mean by link to GSV?

Google Street View.

Would the inaccuracy open up a chance for an easy technical appeal with LT?

What information did Lex supply the LA? Don't assume they supplied the correct information. Find out.

It seems to me that it wasn't practical for him to provide the information, since he didn't receive the request.

We don't know when it was posted, and whether OP was living at that address at the time of posting. If he was, then CPS can, if they still have the documentation, rely on presumption of delivery.

Wrong forum. A mod will move.

Ask TfL for the video and post up here.

No. You fill in new keeper details and send to DVLA.

Their switchboard should be 020 7601 2222

They told him that it is the same course for 36 on a 30 road than for 28 on a 20 road. If I could please have anything to prove them wrong, I could write an email.

If that's City of London's policy, then so be it. CoFP it is. As said before, there is no entitlement to any course.

Video shows back of signs & one-way arrow. However isn't it what is on the PCN evidence & not on anything extra?

The video is the evidence of the moving contravention. The PCN photo is just a snapshot.

Presumably your friend was not aware DYLs cover from middle of the road to property line including kerb, verge and pavement etc? What made friend think they could park on a roundabout? Photos suggest bang-to-rights on contravention.

Get friend to post up both sides of PCN and link to GSV.

And what was friend doing whilst parked?

Court back offices are not an instant-response environment.

the van was parked while delivery was being made and it is my understanding that for this purpose we are allowed up to 20 minutes even though there are double yellow lines.

Your understanding is incorrect.

There is no set time allowed. The time allowed is what is absolutely necessary. No more. If you were mobile groomimg as per your van signage, then you're bang to rights.

If you were making a delivery you'll have a signed delivery note or similar?

He has no entitlement to a course, but can, if he wishes, call the police and ask why he was not offered one.

He says signs were not visible? Specsavers might be able to assist him!

What speed do you think you were doing?

They don't have to be legally trained. Just trained to use the device.

Lack of T bar will not win. DYLs look "substantially compliant", i.e. they clearly convey the restriction.

Your photos don't show how much of your car was on DYL. Need to see photos from pavement side.

The thing is, knowing that I left it parked in a safe place, I checked on it only when it was too late…. sad.gif

Where was this "safe place" you parked the car? Obviously not private land?

Not taxed? No MOT? How do you onkw the council did not put removal stickers on windscreen prior to it being taken away?

The address that the PCN was sent to, is an address the same local authority evicted me from. Barnet evicted from me this address and it is Barnet who issued the PCN, just to be clear. I still have the eviction/possession order which clearly shows that I was evicted from the property at least 3 months PRIOR to the alleged date the PCN was issued.

In accordence with the rules, the LA will access the DVLA database for RK details, and those details are used for the PCN. They are not permitted to do anything else. They don't go hunting to find out if that address is valid. The validity of the address is down to the RK - no one else.
If you unable to comply with the law with regards to DVLA, then maybe you should not be the RK of a motor vehicle...?

The friend has a UK licence. Does she still have a UK address? If so, the RK should give that.

Why?

To avoid all the hassle which will follow giving a "foreign" address?

If friend lives in Australia, giving an address 12,000 miles from where friend lives doesn't seem a bright idea.

Personally, I would phone the officer and say I'd been bricking it for the last 6 weeks and that my driving had really changed for the better - it was a real wake up call.....hopefully, he'd just say that that was the end of it and he will put the ticket through the shredder. Job done! I know I wouldn't be able to go on for a few more months not knowing if he would ever get around to processing his paperwork.

99 times out of a 100, if you speak and act nicely, the police are great - they are human, after all.

Why would the police cancel a ticket for 50% over the limit just because you're really, really sorry?
