Hi guys,

I recently got a ticket for parking in a loading bay. I sent an informal appeal requesting images of the incident, which they sent to me alongside a rejection of my informal appeal (even though all I did was ask for photographic evidence of the contravention). So they're offering me 14 days to pay at the discounted rate otherwise they'll take things further. Just wanted to know if there's any point challenging it? Rather not pay if I don't have to dry.gif

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Post up PCN & GSV
50% Discount offer is better than going to Court.

50% Discount offer is better than going to Court.

Most council tickets are dealt with rather informally by a tribunal, not sure why you think there would be any court involved.

Well your link doesn't work. Unless the photos show you in a very compromising position, I suggest you use a normal site like imgur.com so we can actually see the images before they disappear.

I suppose the obvious question is were you Loading? Note that "loading" does not mean popping into the shop for a sandwich or going to the bank.
As above, please upload the PCN and Council pics.

Well the contravention is banged-to-rights and you accept you weren't loading, so no point in arguing that angle. Upload both sides the PCN in full so we can check for errors in the small print.
