Welcome to the Supporter Members section of FightBack!

This section is for all you boys and girls who are not just interested in finding information on how badly motoring law really works, but are also prepared to stand up, be counted and do something about it!

As a Supporter Member you'll automatically have access to additional benefits for the duration of your subscription, including access to the private BB&G forum.

You can subscribe by clicking on the "My Controls" link at the top of any page, and then selecting "Purchase Paid Subscriptions" from the Option menu on the left (or just click here). Complete details of the subscription packages and payment methods available are in the Members' Forums Help topic.

Needless to say access to all of the current public areas of the website and FightBack will continue to be available free of charge.

Regards,
Fredd

Just signed up as naughty B&G. Is there going to be any car stickers or alike to advertise the pepipoo crusade?

From time to time we're asked why we use PayPal to process credit card payments, and whether we offer other payment options.

We use PayPal because:

+ PePiPoo is not a commercial website, and the volume of payments we take does not come close to justifying a merchant account with a credit card processor.
+ PayPal provides a number of facilities that allow us to link payments into our website (such as recurring subscription payments and shopping carts) that are not as well supported by others such as Nochex.
+ PayPal accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards for both one-off and recurring payments.
+ It really is very easy nowadays for a customer to pay via PayPal - if you haven't tried it for a while you might be surprised how simple it is now. The only extra information you have to provide beyond what you would if we used WorldPay (say) is an e-mail address and a password of your choice.

As for other payment methods:

- We aren't keen on cheques, simply because of the delays in posting/paying-in/clearing and the administrative effort involved - we don't do this as a full-time job, after all!
- We do use Nochex to process debit card payments where we can, but this is limited due to issues with integrating it into the website and forum software.

I hope this at least explains why we do what we do, even if it isn't everyone's first choice!

Fredd

Andy,

We are looking into car stickers etc. and the minimum order quantity would be for around 200. Would anyone like to volunteer to stuff the envelopes etc.?

Our Webmaster (Fred Case fredcase@pepipoo.com) has informed me that, anyone who has real problems with using PayPal, should contact him directly and “he will see what he can do for them”.

Fair do's.

But how about if I mail you cash or a P.O.?

I wouldn't touch PayPal with the proverbial bargepole:

Mika/Fred,

Can we pay direct into your bank account.
I have internet banking so I can pay direct to you if you give me your bank details.

I had trouble paying with paypal. I had to wait for some number to appear on my credit card statement.

Just tried to use Paypal for the first time. What an absolute pile of pants!!
All seemed well until I was asked to pay $2 to have to wait for a number on my next CC bill in order that I am authorised to spend my own money??

Please let us pay direct into your bank account?

I'm in; at least I think that I am. I have had the confirmation from Paypal that the money has been deducted. But I notice at the bottom of this that I am not allowed to vote etc. Confusing!

Here are the "rules" the forum uses:

* Visitors can't see the Members forum at all!
* Registered Users can see the Members forum, but only the Announcements topic (they can post there too).
* Members can see the Announcements topic, plus all the members-only topics (at present Bad Boyz & Girlz).
[/list]

So, if you can see "Bad Boyz & Girlz", then you're in!

The Announcements topic has restricted rights, and is really meant to provide somewhere that non-Members (or people trying to subscribe) can find out about membership or get help subscribing. The intention is that Members will generally post in the "Bad Boyz & Girlz" topic, where you can run polls etc.

Fredd

Hi Mika

My PC blocks paypal, for some unknown reason.

Send me an address by PM and I will post you a cheque for the 12 months.

Franz Kafka in his book THE TRIAL wrote about the kind of injustice that is today evidenced in the courts of HM Prison Britain.

Cheers!
