Hi guys

I got got a PCN from Haringay council stating that I went down a restricted street.

The issue is you cant see the restriction on the pics/video only the restrictions on the other end (if my car was headed the other way down the street)

Ive attached the letter from the council and still have time to make the appeal as initially they sent a letter which i argued i never recieved the initial notice and had to fill in a form and get it declared in front of a solicitor (long story)

anyway, I have the initial PCN and have another 10 days to appeal

You only get one shot at a representation, you can't actually tell the council you want more time. Something more along the lines of "please cancel (insert any truthful sob-story if you have one available), if you won't cancel please reinstate the discount".

Hi

I've sent in a request for them to restore the discounted rate.

What exactly did you say? and how? They may consider this as your representation

That will do, let's see what comes back, you never know they might mess up the response.

In the meantime, here's the order for anyone who wants to have a look:

The Hackney (Prescribed Routes and 20 mph Speed limit) (Consolidation No.1) Order 2019 https://bit.ly/3GX4vUE
The Hackney (Prescribed Routes and 20 MPH Speed Limit) (Amendment No.31) Order 2022: https://bit.ly/3c1CPVi

I'm swamped at the moment but I'll go through them properly if you get a Notice of Rejection.
