Hi All,

Friend of mine received this Parking Charge Notice by post from ParkDirectUk the other day. There was no ticket on windscreen and he doesn't remember seeing any CCTV or ANPR cameras or a warden of any kind. Not sure of reason he was parked there or for how long yet, but just wondered if this PCN can be ignored or should he appeal. Been reading other threads and it seems all appeals to ParkDirect are ignored anyway and IAS is a waste of time too. He doesn't live locally so it's not easy for him to go back to take pic's of signs etc. I've Googled it, but image from July 2017 shows a sign that looks different to the one in PCN pic. Does anyone have an up to date pic of sign there now?

Any thoughts or help on this greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Theres a sneakier method
They will not reply

Instead you could have said - ref (PCN reference NOT drp reference) I deny this debt as ... and require you to confirm you have gone back to your client.
They then respond stating they have no idea what youre talking about, confirming that the DRP letter was a fake.

Thanks, i did read lots of threads on here but didn't see that one, would def have used! :-(

No response from them yet or DVLA who i've emailed asking who has requested my details since the 11/2/18 (PCN date). What should my next move be if neither of them respond?

Thanks.

Well the DVLA will of course respond, they just might need prodding. You used the Subject.... email addy yes?
You know that GLadstones wont respond, and dont need them to either.

What next steps do you envisage? You seem to believe you are in control of the timing, whcih you of course cannot be, unless you pay or take the operator to court..

Apologies if i sound stupid but what do you mean by 'you used the Subject...email addy yes?'

I emailed it to dsp@dvla.gsi.gov.uk which i got from a thread on here. Subject :Re: Third party request for my information

Hope that was the right way to do it.

And what i meant was, should i chase DVLA for response as i've no idea of how long they usually take to respond. From reading on here, am i right in assuming Gladstones next communication will probably be a letter before claim or something like that?

Thanks.

1) Gladstones havent yet communicated. Thats the point. Its just been DRP
2) BEcause of that we dont know. It depends on whether DRP pass it back to their client or not
3) How long has it been? theyre pretty good at responding. Of course you chase if you want to.

They send out via snail mail, so of course you should not chase yet...

Just in case, send it to: SubjectAccess.Requests@dvla.gsi.gov.uk

Although their auto response said 'up to 40 days,' I had the response back in 2 days.

Hi All,

Received a reply from DVLA regarding requests for my information (apologies for upload but having problems my end so hope it can be read clearly)

And received this email from DRP in response to the email i sent to Gladstones asking if the letter i had received from them was actually from Gladstones.

Would the fact that they (and not Gladstones) have replied to an email that was clearly sent directly to Gladstones make any difference to my case as i have still not had confirmation from Gladstones themselves that they sent the letter? Or does it have no relevance at all?

Any advice greatly appreciated as to what, if anything, i can/should do next?

Thanks.

Seems like Gallstones have finally realised that their scam had been rumbled, and are passing info back to DRP

Ignore DRP, is the continuing instruction. Theyre powerless.

Has that letter from the DVLA revealed the real address for PDUK or its owner ?

Could have been useful for enforcing CCJs for their previous clamping antics

That's exactly what I meant

The company registered address, and the one used for its "significant person" is shared with a nightclub and a gym

The registered address is 233 High Street Uxbridge
It's perfectly normal for a registered address to be nothing more than a mail-drop

The Iver address provided by DVLA is therefore something else
The real address for PDUK or its director are the obvious possibilities
